Jeremy Fisher
Senior Counsel, Employment & Litigation

Jeremy Fisher serves as Senior Counsel for Employment and Litigation in the Legal Affairs unit of Georgia Tech's Office of the General Counsel. In this role, Jeremy provides guidance on litigation and internal employment matters, helping to ensure that Georgia Tech is in compliance with various federal and state laws.

Before joining Georgia Tech, Jeremy spent 14 years as a federal prosecutor with the United States Department of Labor, representing the United States as first chair in over 30 trials before various District Courts and administrative forums. While at DOL, Jeremy specialized in federal wage and hour law, immigration, employee benefits, and workplace safety. He also worked in private practice as Of Counsel with the law firm of Jackson Lewis, P.C., and served as Assistant General Counsel for the Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

Jeremy holds a J.D. (with honors) from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation, and a B.A. (with distinction) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In his spare time, Jeremy has published multiple works of short fiction in the United States and United Kingdom, and enjoys taking his sons to watch his beloved Atlanta Hawks.
